At the centre of the Masdar City, the building has set the benchmark of energy efficient and environmentally performance for the entire city. The building exceeds the high standards set for the development as a whole in terms of energy efficiency and resources consumption.

The building is equipped with energy efficient lighting, solar water heating, photo-voltaic solar panels (to provide a part of the building’s power requirements), energy efficient air conditioning system, and a comprehensive building management system.
