We are looking for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with minimum 10 years of work experience in construction field .

Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with the Project Manager on all commercial matters.
• Assist the Project Manager in identifying circumstances occurring on the project, which entitle the company to additional cost or time and to ensure that contractual notices are given within the time limits set down in the Contract.
• Produce monthly operating statements by prescribed dates and to discuss the commercial implications of that statement with the Project Manager.
• Undertake re-measurement and prepare, submit and agree on monthly valuations, variations, interim payment and final accounts.
• Preparation of EOT claims demonstrating the time delays and cost impact analysis.
• Attend commercial meetings and prepare contractual correspondences according to the contract provisions and clauses.
• Prepare monthly project cost reports by compiling all payments/cost-related information and distribute the same to concerned team members to ensure management is always informed about the project development and cost elements.
• Preparation of cost estimates for various miscellaneous jobs.
• Monitoring cost control procedures throughout the duration of the project to minimize the risk at the final account stage.
• Produce monthly forecast of all expenditure and predict and monitor the cash flow.
• Ensure all variation works and immediately acknowledge and confirm the intention to Claim.
• Taking off quantities for estimating and material ordering purposes.
• Preparing detailed bill of quantities, rate build-up and pricing/estimating for tenders and quantity verification.
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s prices and proposals.
• Preparing estimates and budgets for projects.
• Preparing tender documentation mainly for sub-contracts.
• Preparation of project progress reports & project close-out dossiers.
• Concluding contracts upon completion of projects.
