Grocon successfully created a new civic precinct in the heart of Sydney. Balancing the old with the new, Grocon constructed a 26 level office tower and a 31 level hotel tower linked together with the refurbished GPO by a glazed Grand Courtyard.

Having successfully completed the air-conditioning of the heritage buildings of 380 Collins St in Melbourne for the ANZ World Headquarters, JLW was the natural choice for the Grollo’s venture at Martin Place.

The JLW team successfully negotiated the myriad of technical and construction issues that are unique to heritage refurbishment. They breathed new life into the old GPO and The 21st Century Westin hotel tower with environmental management systems.
